     Naga City the Heart of Bicol which is popular to the entire Bicol region as Maogmang Lugar (Happy Place), blessed by INA, our Lady of Nuestra Señora de Peñafrancia. It started to record its name of success from the leadership and good governance of formerly mayor, now DILG Secretary Jesse M. Robredo down to its people whom known to be religious, friendly, and hospitable.

      Naga comprises of 27 barangays with an estimated population of 160, 510. Naga City is the center of commerce, education and cultures in Bicol Region. It continuously progresses manifested by growing number of business establishments, modern subdivisions, tourist destination, and restaurants which serve delicious food and delicacies.

      Restaurants mushroomed downtown and even along intersections, which cater different people. In spite of many food choices, still what remains through the years and part of Bicolano identity, is the toasted siopao. Part of the food ordered whether dine in or to go from the counter of Naga restaurant or from any food outlet that sells siopao. Some siopao outlets offer two kind of “siopao”, either steamed or toasted. Toasted siopao is available everywhere in Naga City consumed for “meriendas” or “pasalubongs” for relatives may it be going home or going to other places outside Naga City.
